    Position Summary

    The Project Manager IV leads complex, high-value design and construction projects for government facilities. This role oversees all phases from planning through occupancy while managing scope, budget, schedule, and contractor performance. The position provides technical leadership and ensures successful project delivery through coordination with internal teams, contractors, and federal stakeholders.

    Manage large-scale construction and renovation projects from planning through closeoutDevelop project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and procurement strategiesServe as on-site project manager, overseeing daily field operations and resolving complex issuesReview and approve design documents, submittals, progress reports, and invoicesEnsure compliance with building codes, life safety standards, and quality requirementsProvide technical expertise across building systems and construction practicesCoordinate with A/E firms, contractors, acquisition staff, and customer agenciesLead project meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communicationMaintain project documentation and ensure delivery on scope, schedule, and budgetTravel to project sites for inspections and progress evaluations as needed

    Minimum Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of experience managing design and construction projectsExtensive knowledge of building design, construction methods, and commercial building systemsProficiency in project management, scheduling, cost estimating, and construction documentationStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple high-value projects and lead multidisciplinary teamsExperience with project management and estimating software
