In this position, you will be the primary customer interface in leading product design and development for body structures & battery housing projects. Key responsibilities may include creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings for BIW components (e.g., battery housing, bumper assembly, side structures) using CAD tools (CATIA, NX), or optimizing an initial product design to improve manufacturability, reduce cost, and shorten time to market. Your daily duties involve attending customer PDT meetings, keeping track of design open issues, managing engineering change and creating DFMEA, DVP&R and GD&T.
Though not a supervisory position, the Product Engineer will provide professional engineering assistance and consultation to other engineers, and departments on technical matters for body structure product. This candidate will need to be able to work in a multinational, multicultural global setting.
Core responsibilities
Work with OEM technical team in the development of structural products to ensure the product meets all requirements of the customer SOR/specifications, manufacturability, and quality objectives.Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for BIW components (e.g., floor pans, pillars, roof, side structures) using CAD tools (CATIA, NX).Ensure the body meets performance, safety (crash), durability, and NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) targets.Select materials (high-strength steels, aluminum) and design for stamping, welding, assembly, and cost-effectiveness.Analyze the product assembly chain, evaluate tolerance stack-up effects among components, optimize tolerance allocation, and prevent assembly interference or functional failures caused by accumulated tolerances.Prepare necessary technical documentation and Work with manufacturing, tooling, stamping, closures, and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible and production-ready.Perform feasibility checks, interface reviews, and support validation (DVP&R, DFMEA).Troubleshoot issues during prototype builds and production related to water leaks, corrosion, fit, and function.To qualify for this role you must meet the following:

About the Role:
The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within a warehouse or distribution center. This position is responsible for operating various types of forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods to designated locations.
