    Job DescriptionJob Description

    Location: Omaha, NE

Compensation: Market-leading base salary with uncapped performance incentives.

Reports to: Head of Personal Injury Practice

    Type: Full-time | Growth Role | High-Impact Legal Practice

Sector: Plaintiff-Side Civil Litigation / Personal Injury

    About the Firm
This is a high-growth legal team committed to advocating for individuals whose lives have been disrupted by serious accidents and negligence. With 400% revenue growth in the last three years, the Personal Injury team is expanding—and this role is a direct result of that success. Attorneys here don't just handle cases—they help build systems, define team culture, and shape the future of a fast-rising litigation group.

    The Opportunity
Join a close-knit, collaborative personal injury team known for its camaraderie, strong mentorship, and deep commitment to both client service and work-life balance. This is a newly created role for a confident, emotionally intelligent attorney who can independently manage a significant plaintiff-side case load, build trust with injured clients, and execute litigation strategy with minimal hand-holding.

    What You'll Do
    Case Management & Litigation

Own a personal docket of 80–100 files, primarily in pre-litigation

Handle motor vehicle collisions, dog bites, premises liability, and occasional medical malpractice

Draft and negotiate demand letters and settlement packages

File and litigate cases as needed: pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, trial prep

Maintain regular client communication by phone, email, and text

Coordinate with paralegal and legal assistant support staff

    Client Communication & Strategy

Provide high-empathy counsel to individuals in crisis

Explain legal processes clearly across all educational levels

Deliver honest, tactful guidance about case value and strategy

Build rapport with opposing counsel and insurance reps

    Performance Expectations

Meet firm metrics for demand packages, case progression, and client outcomes

Independently manage files without constant supervision

Adopt and implement the practice group's standardized systems

Contribute to a culture of collaboration and shared problem-solving

You'd Be a Great Fit If You Have:

5+ years of legal practice experience (civil litigation or insurance defense acceptable)

Active license in Nebraska or Iowa (required)

Experience with plaintiff-side PI is a plus, but not required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High emotional intelligence and client-facing maturity

Ability to balance empathy with assertiveness

Stability in prior roles (no frequent job-hopping)

Clear, confident courtroom and negotiation presence

    Why Join Us

Be part of a high-growth PI team with proven 400% revenue growth

Enjoy a culture that genuinely values work-life balance and professional development

Collaborate closely with a supportive, down-to-earth leader who values transparency, mentorship, and process excellence

Work in a team that helps clients through some of life's most difficult moments—and finds purpose in the work
