The position that is being hired in for is over night and weekends.
We are looking for a reliable VSF release agent to act as a communication point for wrecker services and release vehicles from impound. You will receive requests, transmit messages and track drivers, as well as releasing vehicles from the VSF. As a Impound Release Clerk you can expect to act in accordance with the state and city regulations for the process of releasing vehicles from an impound lot, which includes verifying ownership, collecting necessary fees, and ensuring proper documentation is completed before releasing the vehicle to the rightful owner; often requiring strong customer service skills to answer inquiries and handle interactions with vehicle owners and towing companies
The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in high energy situations. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision.
This position will include data entry and attention to detail.
