MIKEL, Inc. is seeking a SWFTS / BYG-1 AUKUS Systems Engineering Coordinator to support Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS), BYG-1 Combat System assessment, and AUKUS Trilateral program efforts for the U.S. Navy. This role will serve as one of the primary technical points of contact for coordinating systems engineering inputs, assessment products, cost and schedule analysis, baseline system specification support, and integration and test assessment activities across Navy combat system modernization efforts.

Nature of Role: This position is part of a team that provides Fleet support and Configuration Management (CM)/Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for UK Submarine Tomahawk to include Documentation, Engineering and Distance/Onsite Technical support. Nature of Role: Supports Design, Analysis, Documentation and Product Development of systems and technologies key to MIKEL’s family of products and works in partnership with the Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI.
Responsibilities:

Integration staff are responsible for managing the software and hardware configurations for the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System in Code 25 Test Bays. Work as part of a highly skilled and multi-functional, multi-disciplined team in order to maintain proper lab configurations and provide support to various test teams. The Integration position provides unique exposure to multiple software and hardware baselines from legacy systems to cutting edge Submarine Combat Control platforms.
