Midwood Ambulance Service is a respected leader in specialized medical care and emergency transportation since 1956. It is the oldest private, family-owned medical transportation business in Brooklyn and one of the oldest and largest in New York City. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to work with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
Contact potential customers at physician officesRespond to sales leadsTravel to defined geographies to sell ambulance servicesArrange appointments with doctorsCold-call or go door to doorProvide competitive pricing information to establish negotiated pricing contractsImprove product knowledgeTravel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers by phoneResearch competitorsGathers, analyzes and delivers information from the field to allow the company to develop appropriate strategiesCoordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service support, customer service, marketing and financeStay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area
Requirements:
Must use their own car (mileage reimbursement)Must have a clear driving recordMust possess a "Can do" attitudeBe driven to produce resultsMinimum of one year of customer service experience preferred, ambulance service sales preferred
