    Johnson Service Company, a division of Midlands Contracting, Inc., is seeking a CDL Driver/Operator (Class A or B) to join our growing construction team. This position is based throughout Eastern Kansas and Eastern Nebraska, and you can live anywhere in the region. We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to travel.

    Requirements

    $75,000 per year and up depending on experienceAssistance obtaining a CDL will be provided for the right candidate50 or more hours per week (no weekend work)Most projects require being out of town Monday-Friday (home on weekends)Transportation provided when working out of town Paid travel timeHotel paid for by the companyNightly per diem for meals when working out of townYear-round employment (no winter layoffs)

    Requirements

    Class A or B CDL is required (or ability and desire to obtain a CDL).An excellent driving record is required.Driving and operation of various trucks including boiler truck and combo vac/jetting truck. Experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.Must be mechanically inclined and able to perform routine maintenance and repairs.Physical labor is part of each day with this position. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team when carrying loads heavier than 50 pounds.Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl throughout each day.Willingness to abide by all safety rules.
