Key Responsibilities:

Duties Include:
(1) Perform tasks associated with the installation, trouble shooting, repair, testing, configuration, and maintenance of servers, desktop, and laptop computers, printers, and network equipment.
(2) Install and perform upgrades to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
(3) Travel as needed to the other MLSC offices in the Marshalls, FSM, Palau and Guam to attend to tech issues.
(4) Attend to user inquiries over the phone, via remote access, or email regarding computer software and hardware operations.
(5) Administration and maintenance of all aspects of Google Workspace and MS platforms, our case management system (LegalServer), our humam resources platorm (BambooHR), and our accounting software (MIP). Ensure network security and virus protection. Recommend enhancements and integrations, and improved efficiencies within our existing technologies. Analyze tech problems, and implement hardware and software solutions. Maintain internet connectivity and web site. Administer email (G-mail) and communications technology. Ensure all staff are using Google Drive to back up all important MLSC work. Ensure MLSC maintains off-line back up of all essential data. Provide daily end user tech support.
(6) In cooperation with the Executive Director and each of the Directing Attorneys, ensure that each employee has a computer at his or her work station and that staff can perform all essential law office functions, has access to all essential MLSC technology.
(7) Regularly assess MLSCs IT needs and capacities, and prepare long range IT planning documents, including use of AI, integrations, and increasing efficiencies for all staff.
(8) Regularly assess staff training needs and capacities relative to technology, and provide training to staff.

Volunteers/interns will work on a variety of tasks ranging from research and casework to assisting with outreach and administrative functions.
