Duties and Responsbilities:
Technical - Performs calibrations in one or more of the following skill areas, as applicable:
bio-med instrumentationelectronic standardsfiber opticsLCR and impedancenuclear and radiation physicsoscilloscopesparticle countersphoto/radiometric optometryRADARRF/microwave power, frequency, and impedancesound pressure levelspectrophotometry (including standards)spectrum and network analysis, time interval and frequencyvibrationvideovoltage & currentwaveform analysis, phase and distortion.Communication and Interaction - Communicates conversationally and in writing with coherent sentence structure to all employees; regularly interacts with other technicians and sometimes with CSRs and Purchasing; interaction normally involves exchange of factual information.
