    Performs electronic calibrations and/or repairs on general purpose and/or specialized measuring and test equipment.

    Responsibility, Accountability and Decision Making - Normally receives detailed instructions on work; acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks; works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgement is required.

    Duties and Responsbilities:

    Technical - Performs calibrations in one or more of the following skill areas, as applicable:

    bio-med instrumentationelectronic standardsfiber opticsLCR and impedancenuclear and radiation physicsoscilloscopesparticle countersphoto/radiometric optometryRADARRF/microwave power, frequency, and impedancesound pressure levelspectrophotometry (including standards)spectrum and network analysis, time interval and frequencyvibrationvideovoltage & currentwaveform analysis, phase and distortion.

    Communication and Interaction - Communicates conversationally and in writing with coherent sentence structure to all employees; regularly interacts with other technicians and sometimes with CSRs and Purchasing; interaction normally involves exchange of factual information.
