    We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results oriented RETAIL SALES AND MERCHANDISING MANAGER. It is Micro Center’s core promise to take care of our associates and customers which has led to our success over the last 40+ years!

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Maintain orderly operation and safety of all areas of responsibility; ensure that sales policies and procedures are being properly carried out at the store levelThrough sales floor leadership, ensure all customer issues are resolved in a timely manner and in alignment with company policyConsistently achieve customer satisfaction, sales, productivity, payroll and expense goalsEnsure the execution of ad set and visual merchandising standardsProvide regular coaching and feedback to supervisors and ensure sales goals and results are communicated to all associates throughout the storeReview P&L statements with the General Manager on a monthly basis to identify areas of concern; recommend and implement sales improvement plansParticipate in and lead open and close proceduresServe as manager-in-charge during absence of General Manager or other store managersManage all freight flow and merchandise processing, including regular cycle counts and tracking of company assets through inventory controlManage staffing, orientation and training to ensure competent supervisors and associates are hired,  trained and scheduled to properly service our customersDevelop and coach supervisors and sales associates in all departments in the areas of product knowledge, solution selling, standard operating procedures and customer satisfactionEnsure human resource issues are handled in accordance with guidelines; partner with Regional HR Manager and Store Manager when neededPerform other duties and tasks as assigned

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    Two or more years of experience with a major big box retailer in a high-volume, 30,000+ square-foot store, preferably in a commissioned sales environment or within the consumer electronics industryA college degree is preferredPrevious experience in all aspects of retail management: driving sales, merchandising, operations, freight flow and customer serviceExperience in human resources functions and capable of hiring, retaining and coaching qualified employeesAbility to execute corporate initiatives and analyze the competitionPhysical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods of timeShifts include hours before and after the store is open to the public and may also include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

    We are seeking self-motivated, results oriented Retail Warehouse Associates -PT with high-volume experience to load and unload merchandise, replenish stock, and execute store maintenance duties in our big box computer retail store. It is Micro Center’s core promise to take care of our associates and customers which has led to our success over the last 40+ years!

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Execute the 18-minute Web Pick-Up processes and ensure customer satisfactionProcess incoming and outgoing shipments (including pick-packs, backhauls, return-to-vendor merchandise, etc.)Maintain the department and store by ensuring clean work areas, conducting cycle counts, stocking and replenishing product and participating in merchandising activitiesSupport store operations by maintaining loss prevention awareness; help to prepare for and conduct physical inventoryAssemble floor displays and re-setsAssist customers and perform carry-in/outParticipate in open and close proceduresPerform other duties and tasks as assigned

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or equivalentKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeSincere interest in helping customers and driving world-class customer experiencesAbility to communicate professionally and handle multiple customersProfessional appearance and demeanorPhysical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout duration of shift, stand for prolonged periods of timeShifts include hours after and after the store is open to the public and may also include mornings, nights, weekends and holidaysPrevious retail customer service or warehouse experience strongly preferred
