    Position Overview

    Miami Technology Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong backend development skills and hands-on experience in modern cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and deploying scalable applications using cloud services and Python, and will contribute to modernizing complex enterprise systems.

    Candidates with experience in environmental science domains — particularly passive acoustics or marine population estimation — are strongly encouraged to apply.

    This is a mostly remote opportunity with occasional work in Silver Spring, MD.

    Key Responsibilities

    Building and maintaining data pipelinesDesign, develop, and deploy scalable full stack applications (backend-focused).Develop APIs, services, and integrations to support mission-critical applications.Implement cloud-native architectures using AWS, GCP, or other modern cloud platforms.Collaborate with DevOps, data science, and user experience teams to deliver secure, efficient solutions.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.Support modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native or containerized environments.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to federal contract requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years work experience in a software development or related field. Strong proficiency in Python.Demonstrated experience with full stack application development, with emphasis on backend development.Proficiency in Cloud Architecture and use of Cloud Services (e.g., compute, storage, serverless, APIs).Experience with application frameworks and database integration.

    Nice to Have

    Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience or certifications.Machine Learning (ML) model integration or deployment experience.Experience in Application Cloud Modernization projects.Familiarity with Passive Acoustics data workflows or marine population estimation modeling.Experience with modern DevOps toolchains and CI/CD pipelines.

    Summary:

    The Material Handler will work in a warehouse, records storage environment sorting, retrieving and filing records on behalf of our customer, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).

    This is a full-time position with a schedule of 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $19.81 with additional $5.09 per hour Health and Welfare funds to apply to the cost of benefits.


    Required Qualifications:

    Ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment.Strong attention to detail.Must be able to lift boxes up to 30 to 50 lbs. regularly.Must be able to climb ladders to reach shelving up to 15 feet high.Have the ability to pass a drug screen and a background check.This contract requires that all candidates are U.S. citizens.Must have high school diploma or GED.

    SUMMARY

    The Banquet Setup Professional completes opening duties for the conference service department and daily set up of tables, chairs and other equipment per room diagrams; Cleaning of chairs, walls, baseboards and tables in the meeting rooms, in accordance with safety and sanitation policies. Provide exemplary customer service to employees and guests. Ensure each employee/guest leaves with a positive impression of the facility.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following .Other duties may be assigned.


    Print daily sheets from Scheduling System for current and next day.Prepare daily signage for meeting roomsPrepare and Refresh water stations for all meetings throughout the day.Review any special instructions from Conference Planning Manager, and complete as required.Set meeting rooms and lobby area as indicated in Scheduling System (or specific diagrams)Greet clients, and offer any assistance needed.Maintain clean, organized storage and work areas. Including but not limited to; designated storage areas, office/cubicle space, service hallways and carts.Refresh all day meetings between breaks and lunch.Reset rooms between meetings as indicated on daily sheets.Assist Managers with various projects (assembling stage, etc.).Maintain all equipment needed to perform job duties.Maintain all meeting room furniture.Empty trash from meeting rooms, and determine what is recyclable.Refresh all meeting rooms and restock all caddies and room supplies at the end of the day.Report maintenance problems or other problem areas to Supervisor as they occur.Follow all policies and procedures on safety and sanitation.Follow all emergency procedures.Walk the floor every 10-15 minutes to check rooms and pre-function areas.Refresh all-day meetings between breaks and lunch (remove all trash and refresh water).Reset rooms between meetings as indicated on daily sheets (with a sense of urgency).Complete special assignments promptly (stage setup, reception areas, etc.).Maintain all equipment needed to perform job duties.Maintain cleanliness of all meeting rooms. Wipe down tables, chairs, podium (not AV equipment), rails, and vacuum all rooms after each meeting.Empty trash and recycling bins from the pre-function area and meeting rooms.Refresh all meeting rooms and restock all caddies and room supplies at the end of the day.Complete all training required by Management.Perform any or all other duties as assigned by managementReports all accidents to your manager immediately.Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
