Engage all guests in a friendly manner using our SHOW Service Basics program to deliver WOW Moments. Assist guests with their needs and drive sales. Maintain a sales focused culture to achieve store goals. Maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure product replenishment from stock room to guarantee our guest's ease of shopping. The JobAs a Valet Cashier, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
The day-to-day:
Warmly greet and assist all guests at the Valet areas while providing courteous, efficient and enthusiastic serviceMonitor and direct the traffic in designated areas and at the Hotel Valet and Casino Valet while ensuring that safety equipment is usedAccommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid, such as issuing scooters and wheelchairsInput incoming valet tickets into computerized system for valet parking customers and maintain on-hand cashInput information into the appropriate system from the valet ticket within 15 minutes of receiving it; perform ticket reconciliation at the end of the shift to ensure all retrieved vehicles are taken out of the systemMaintain a clean and safe working area by picking up trash, sweeping valet areas and keeping valet booths clean; promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needRespond effectively to guest inquiries in person or via phone related to the property, directions and the local area while providing excellent guest serviceRespond to and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and resolve potential difficulties within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to managementNotify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theftThe Ideal CandidatePreferred High School Diploma or GED Preferred 6+ months of prior relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Pay Rate: The rate for this role is: $16.50 This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage. Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements. Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
