Operate RT hydraulic cranes.Setup machinery based on complex manuals. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Review and comprehend blueprint drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, etc.Review previous surveys, existing control, and land records to verify and support survey data.Develop accurate CAD drawings for job site layout.Establish and maintain a system of horizontal and vertical control for each job site. Layout structures, pipelines, large and small diameter mechanical piping, site grade, cut/fill elevations and process equipment.Develop As-Built files to be provided to engineers and owners.Maintain a clean and organized field book.Work efficiently with little to no supervision.Work closely with Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Superintendents to ensure projects comply with design and regulatory requirements. A Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field is required.Familiarity with State Plane coordinate systems.Proficiency with surveying equipment (e.g., total station, GPS, site level, laser level, etc.) Familiarity with Leica products is a plus.Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office products.Strong mathematical skills, particularly in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.At least five (5) years of experience using survey equipment and AutoCAD.
