We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems for our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of irrigation technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance checks on existing irrigation systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency.Conduct inspections and testing of Backflow preventersPerform repairs on irrigation equipment, including sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, and controllers.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.Adjust irrigation schedules and settings based on seasonal changes, weather patterns, and specific customer needs.Collaborate with customers to assess their irrigation requirements and provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.Keep accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and parts used.Educate customers on proper irrigation practices, water conservation techniques, and system operation.Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in residential irrigation services.Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working on irrigation systems, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience working with residential irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Backflow preventer certificationStrong technical skills and familiarity with irrigation components, including pumps, valves, controllers, and drip systems.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing time efficiently and prioritizing tasks effectively.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.Company DescriptionWe are a company with a growth mindset, both for individual team members and the company as a whole.
