CAMBRIA HOTEL BOSTON, DOWNTOWN, SOUTH BOSTON IS seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Office Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest service, and supervising the front office staff. Responsibilities: Guest Services: Welcome guests and handle check-in/check-out processes. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Ensure a positive guest experience through exceptional customer service. Staff Supervision: Lead and supervise front office staff, including receptionists and concierge. Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient operations. Conduct regular training sessions for staff development. Administrative Tasks: Manage reservations and monitor room availability. Routing, Balance limit auditing. OTA Reconciliation Handle cash and payment transactions accurately. Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures. Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Conduct regular audits to maintain service quality standards. Communication: Liaise with other hotel departments to coordinate services. Communicate effectively with guests and resolve any concerns or complaints. Requirements: Proven experience in a front office or guest service role. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with hotel booking systems and front office software. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. The Night Auditor has the ability to work with very little supervision, He/she is essentially the third shift MOD and therefore is relied upon heavily for consistent attendance and punctuality. The Night Auditor will need to adjust to a third shift (11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.), which is contrary to a conventional lifestyle. No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success creating a safe work place, following company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional. Answer hotel telephones courteously and efficiently following Renaissance standards. Prepare, set up, stock, take down, clean and provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Be familiar and knowledgeable with the operation of the Point-Of-Sale system. Is proficient (with adequate training) with basic engineering functions e.g.: HVAC thermostat operation, fire panel functionality, Ving operations, security system monitoring, etc. Follow Marriott operational policies and procedures, including those for cash and credit card handling, safety and security and all other policies, procedures and standards to ensure we can consistently exceed the guests' expectations.
