    The Box Machine Operator is responsible for sorting, preparing, and packaging products requiring custom packaging. The ideal candidate will consider safety, quality, and teamwork with a high regard, and work well in a team environment.


    Pay Rate for Box Machine Operators:

    Starting rate is $18.50 per hour

    Schedule for Box Machine Operators:

    Schedule: Monday- Friday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm,


    Preferred Experience for Box Machine Operators:

    Education/Certification(s): High School graduate or equivalent preferred.Experience: Prior warehouse or packaging experience preferred.

    Requirements for Box Machine Operators:

    Ability to give special attention to detail required. Must have the ability to identify letters and numbers.Must be comfortable with a computer to complete basic functions.Must adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.The individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, and responds to management directionMust have the ability to orally communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and other employees.Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.

    Box Machine Operators' duties include, but are not limited to:

    Basic computer skills and knowledge of our WMS softwareWear safety gloves while handling metal productsAble to read, identify, and sort products based on pick ticket detailsScans product using handheld scannersUse advised packing material when packaging the productPlaces necessary labels on the packed productUsing banding equipment on the product is requiredStages product for shipping in the proper location for UPS/FedEx/LTL/truck shipmentsKeeps warehouse and work area clean and organized at all timesWears protective-toed shoes and works safely at all timesAssist Lead/team members when changing corrugate for the box machineEnsure the box machine and work area are clean and neat before leaving EODAll other duties as assigned by the supervisor

    Physical Demands for Box Machine Operators:

    Must have the ability to stand, walk, and squat for the duration of the shiftMust have the ability to grasp, push, and pull with hands for the duration of the shiftRequired to frequently bend and twist the neck and waistRequired to occasionally squat and kneelTalking, hearing, and seeing are essentialMust have the ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.Must be able to operate equipment- 18 years or older (If applicable)Must have the ability to endure extreme hot and cold temperatures, humidity, and work in a noisy environment
