    Job Title: Medical Director About the Role: A leading clinical research organization is seeking a Medical Director to provide medical oversight of Phase I–IV clinical trials, including specialties such as Psychiatry, Acute Post-Op Pain, Dermatology, GI, and Neurology . The role is responsible for ensuring participant safety, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of clinical trial data across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: Provide medical direction and supervision of all clinical trial activities. Ensure participant safety and adherence to study protocols. Develop, implement, and monitor site policies and quality improvement programs. Assist with protocol feasibility and development as requested by sponsors or CROs. Participate in management reviews, study initiations, monitoring visits, and audits. Review clinical trial protocols and provide recommendations. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate site personnel. Maintain strict compliance with FDA regulations, ICH GCP guidelines, and internal SOPs. Qualifications: Licensed MD or equivalent relevant doctoral experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical trial management and oversight. Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and clinical research standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, adaptable, and highly motivated. Working Conditions: Office-based with on-site responsibilities. Light physical activity (sitting, typing, standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs). Occasional travel may be required. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in driving scientific, clinical, and operational excellence while ensuring regulatory compliance and the highest standards of patient safety and data integrity. Key Responsibilities Provide scientific and medical leadership for the conduct of clinical research studies in compliance with GCP , FDA , ICH , and institutional SOPs. Ensure participant safety and ethical study conduct across all phases of research. Supervise and mentor research staff and sub-investigators, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Oversee patient recruitment, retention, and data quality , ensuring adherence to study protocols. Serve as the primary medical contact for sponsors, CROs, and regulatory representatives. Review study protocols and provide medical and scientific input to improve execution and outcomes. Participate in sponsor meetings, training sessions, and industry conferences to support ongoing site development and study acquisition.
