The Opportunity
A strategic leader with a successful track record of supporting large B2B technology clients in an agency setting. Must have deep relationships with top tier media and experience shaping storytelling opportunities with top tier journalists. The ideal candidate will partner with agency and client teams to develop comprehensive media strategies for new business prospects and clients.
Responsibilities:
Support media strategy team and earned media discipline at Method, including maintaining best-in-class media relationships, delivery highest quality strategy and materials related to media engagement, and champion ongoing training and development for PR SAE and AS roles on media relations skillsWork with clients and account teams to develop and execute media strategyServe as strategic thought partner to leadership in development of narratives and storytellingManage media relationships and curate targeted press listsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and media coverageLead media strategy for new business pitches ensuring presentations are well researched, prepared and polishedWhat We’re Looking For:
8+ years’ experience in public relations, communications, marketing and/or related fields6+ years’ experience in a media relations role with a media relations focus; agency experience preferredEstablished relationships as a media counselor with clients, including C-suite executivesStrong understanding of and experience in the relationship between traditional public relations and the use of current online/digital technology and social mediaProven media placement in national outlets, including broadcastAbility to build, conceptualize and execute integrated communications programs that align with client/company business goalsDeep network of relationships with top tier national and international media — journalists, analysts and influencers in a variety of technology sectorsAble to manage others and oversee multiple direct reports with different managerial requirements, working on both hard and soft skill development for coacheesExpert-level editing and writing capabilitiesWhat’s it like to work here?

Salary range: $145,000 - $180,000Work Arrangement
The role is hybrid and required to work from Method’s hub office in San Francisco, California, at least two days per week.

The Opportunity
Senior vice presidents (SVP) are senior-level managers who provide leadership in all aspects of Method’s business across client work, business development and agency initiatives. As an SVP, you will lead multiple client teams and ensure the agency provides world-class services to our clients. You will also be responsible for fostering organic growth with existing clients, sourcing new business opportunities and leading teams through the new business pitch process. SVPs work with the CEO, COO and the executive team to actively shape and guide the agency’s growth while preserving and enhancing Method culture and furthering the agency vision. You’ll also help lead the leadership team, collaborating with HR, Finance and Operations teams on internal agency initiatives.
Responsibilities

The Opportunity
