Cardiac Anesthesiology - Maine Practice Highlights: Adult cardiac only. Cases consist of CABG, aortic replacement, valve repairs/replacements; no transplant. Adult cardiac cases are performed by a dedicated group of specialty-trained anesthesiologists. Cases are physician only. Approximately 40% cardiac/60% non-cardiac case coverage Cardiac call is 1:6 home pager call with infrequent call backs. Post-call day off. No in-house call. Anesthesia Care Team Model practice with CRNA medical direction for non-cardiac cases.
