In this role, you will support Mediacom's Construction and Engineering teams by providing accurate procurement, project, and financial information needed to keep projects on schedule and within budget with a focus on accurate and detailed reporting, tracking and analysis using clear and concise communication. Primary duties will include managing purchase requisitions for construction, engineering and operational departments. The successful candidate will exhibit high attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Track approved purchase orders from issuance through delivery, including issued dates, expected delivery dates and vendor updates. Review purchase order status and coordinate with contractors, project owners and internal department to resolve delays, discrepancies or missing information. Reviews, prepare and submit project requests related to construction projects, ensuring requires documentation, approvals, scope and cost information. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, project requests, commitments, invoices, delivery schedules and project expenditures. Collaborate with Finance and project leaders to prepare monthly forecasts, accruals, budget updates and variance explanations. Identify outstanding commitments, unbilled expenses, risks and financial exposure before month-end close. Assist with invoice research, coding issues, receipt confirmation, purchase order reconciliation and vendor payment questions. Analyze reporting data to identify delays, cost trends, outstanding actions and risks affecting project schedules or financial performance. Prepare and distribute Engineering Operations reports, including variance analyses, graphs, trends, summaries and supporting detail. Support Construction and Engineering teams by providing accurate procurement, project, and financial information needed to keep projects on schedule and within budget. High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. 2+ years of office administration experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required, Oracle experience a plus. Ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify trends. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
