Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic testsCollaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditionsAdminister medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessaryConduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic proceduresEducate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherenceProvide counseling and emotional support to patients and their familiesKnowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS GuidelinesDocument accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and Government regulations and perform duties in accordance with site quality and safety systemsCollaborate with the interdisciplinary teamAnalyze and organize the care of critically complex patientsRequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facilityActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician licenseDEA LicenseCPR BCLS/BLS certifiedMust hold a Master's Degree in NursingCompleted a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programPreferred experience in cardiology: training providedPreferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training providedMust have great organizational and time management skills.Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per dayBenefits:
