Medical Group is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Department Chair to join our established and growing employed practice in Prescott, AZ.
The Department Chair is responsible for delivering outstanding patient care as well as administrative leadership and oversight for the department and clinical specialty subsections. The Department Chair will commit to clinical work as a 0.8 FTE and a 0.2 administrative FTE.
Responsibilities:
Conducts clinical, administrative and quality oversight of YRMG cardiology providers within the Department. Commitment to clinical work as a 0.8 FTE and 0.2 administrative FTE. Establishes standards and protocols for evidence-based cardiovascular medicine within the Department. Determines the immediate, intermediate and long-term goals for the Cardiology Department in alignment with Department strategy. Conducts annual performance reviews of cardiology providers and supports their professional development. Works with YRMG chief medical officer to continuously improve cardiovascular quality and patient experience. Models leadership traits to section chiefs and all practitioners within the Cardiology Department. Commitment to participate in leadership development programs Commitment to building and leading highly effective cardiology teams. Participates in YRMG and medical staff committees and serves as a voting member of the Yavapai Regional Medical Group Leadership Council as required by the Chief Medical Officer. Ongoing commitment to continuing medical education and professional development of cardiology providers within the Department. Participates in and promotes cardiovascular medical education including development of continuing medical education programs, curricula and programmatic design for medical student, future GME programs, and APPs.

Role Overview
As our dedicated Cardiac MRI/CT Imaging Specialist, you’ll lead our cardiovascular MRI imaging program.
Perform Level III cardiac MRI and Level II/III cardiac CT with CTFFR, advanced perfusion, structural evaluation, tissue characterization, scar/fibrosis quantification, cardiomyopathy workup, viability analysis, myocarditis, vascular angiography, and congenital heart disease imagingInterpret complex non-invasive imaging and deliver high-quality reports to referring physicians.

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to enhance our interdisciplinary palliative care program. This position is supported by our Hospitalist physicians and Nurse Practitioners as well as a team of experienced case managers and a Spiritual Care Director. Ideal candidates will possess or be willing to obtain an ACHPN certification.
Practice Highlights:
· Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
· No call required and no weekends
· Deliver direct and indirect patient care for palliative care inpatients through comprehensive assessments and aggressive symptom and medication management
· Provide inpatient consultations in critical care, oncology, neurology, cardiology, and general medical and surgical units
· Collaborate with referring providers to coordinate a plan of care
· Conduct goals of care discussions with patients and families to align treatment choices with their wishes
· No outpatient responsibilities
- Inpatient Palliative Care experience required
