    THE UNIQUE MEDCARE CAREER PATH: MedCare Ambulance is owned and operated by MedFlight Ohio, which gives MedCare partners a unique opportunity to access a career path that could lead to Paramedic positions on our Mobile Intensive Care Units and Rotor Wing Crews. 


    (Full-Time, Various Shifts Available)

    Location: Mansfield, OH and surrounding areas
    Compensation: $20.09/hour and up (based on experience)


    Hiring Bonus:

    $5,000 for Full-Time (Reserved for the first 5 Paramedics hired)


    Shift Differentials:

    Mon–Thurs, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM + $4/hrFri–Sun, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM + $5/hrSat–Sun, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM + $4/hr


    Run Bonus*

    $30/run for every run over station per shift goal


    Tuition Reimbursement

    Just earned your EMT-B certification?
    We’ll help you start strong with up to $1,500 in tuition reimbursement — half after six months, half after one year of service.


    What You’ll Do

    As an EMT with MedCare Ambulance, you’ll be a vital part of our mission to deliver premier medical transportation. You will:

    Provide high-quality patient care during emergency and non-emergency transports.Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.Collaborate with healthcare professionals and first responders.Represent MedCare with courtesy, professionalism, and compassion in every interaction.


    What is Required

    Current Ohio EMT-A or EMT-B License and American Heart Association CPR certificationValid driver’s license with a clean record.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in high-stress situations.Physical capability to assist with patients up to 350+ lbs.Must be able to sit driving for long periods of time.Comprehensive knowledge of emergency transportation procedures and a thorough understanding of their application in the medical transportation environmentCommitment to teamwork, excellence, and patient-centered care.

    As a Paramedic 2, you'll also have the exciting opportunity to participate in the rollout of our new Quick Response Vehicle (QRV) program, helping shape the future of emergency response in our communities.
