Role
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair public address (PA) and communication systems in hospital and healthcare environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently and supporting critical systems where reliability matters.
Responsibilities
Install, service and maintain hospital public address (PA) and related communication systemsDiagnosing and repair system issues including amplifiers, speakers, paging controllers, cabling and telecommunication bridge components in between the PA system and the Telecom department.Perform preventive maintenance and system testing to ensure compliance and uptimeRead and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and system documentationWork on-site in active hospital environments while following safety and infection-control protocolsDocument service calls, repairs and installations accuratelyCommunicate professionally with hospital staff, project managers and internal teamsExperience in field service, audio installations, telecom or similar technical roleStrong troubleshooting skills with audio, paging, and/or communication systemsFamiliarity with nurse call systems and manufacturers such as Rauland, AtlasIED, Valcom, Bogen, etc.Mechanical skills that apply to other projects/repairs that we perform for our clientsValid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or regionallyAbility to pass background checks required for hospital access Read LessWe are seeking a motivated Field Service technician with 3-5 years of mechanical, refrigeration, HVAC or related field service experience to support hospitals, laboratories, research facilities and healthcare organizations throughout NY / NJ area.
