    Opportunity:

    We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist that supports accounting operations and financial reporting activities by analysis, reconciliations, month-end close support, and maintenance of accurate financial records. This role serves as a key contributor to the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting function.

    Responsibilities:

    Process and maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactionsPrepare and post routine journal entries and perform account reconciliationsSupport month-end close activities and financial reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingMonitor, investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, account balances, and financial resultsMaintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentationAssist with variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activitiesAssist with audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to requestsSupport compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standardsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial informationAnalyze financial results and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement

    Qualifications:

    We are currently seeking a Tax Manager for our Personal Tax Advisory Group in one of our Northeast, Ohio offices: Cleveland, Akron, or Wooster.

    The Tax Manager in our PTAG group will specialize in personal and fiduciary tax and is responsible for all facets of client engagements, which includes supervising staff and directing the day-to-day progress of the engagement. The Tax Manager is preparing to assume increasing responsibility to handle a larger quantity and complexity of client assignments and begin developing client relationships.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Continues to develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the tax law, regulations and expands knowledge of all types of complex tax issues. Research and analytical skills are a major component of this position. Provides advice to other firm members and consults directly with clients regarding tax issues. Applies appropriate accounting and tax theory during engagements to ensure data is accurate and reliable.Directs the overall progress of larger tax return projects and tax research, including planning, organization, delegation, and coordination of work to ensure timely completion of assignments. Identifies problems or opportunities for improvement in clients’ systems, procedures, or business operations.Coordinates staff to provide services to resolve tax-related issues.Appropriately communicates with members of the engagement team so that needed information is shared and deadlines and modified deadlines are known. Assists with, and as necessary, leads efforts at engagement planning such as: Outlines major issues and problem areas.Determines needs for additional information or facts. Supervises and reviews staff in the preparation of tax returns. Responsible for completing workpapers, checklists and research memos. Submits reviewed tax returns on a timely basis.Participates in the proposal process. Begins to train on administrative, practice management, and development matters.     Role Summary:

    Meaden & Moore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of technology, operational, and client-facing initiatives across a dynamic professional services environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional resources, manage competing priorities, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate brings a disciplined approach to project governance, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-driven culture.


    Responsibilities:

    Project/Program Delivery & Governance

    Lead full project lifecycle management for IT and firm-wide initiatives, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, charters, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria in alignment with firm strategy and client expectations.Apply appropriate project management methodologies (waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) based on project complexity and stakeholder needs.Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating critical issues to the CIO with recommended resolution paths.

    Stakeholder & Client Engagement

    Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including firm leadership, department heads, clients, and external vendors.Facilitate regular project status meetings, steering committee updates, and executive briefings, ensuring transparency and alignment.Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for non-technical audiences.Manage client expectations in engagements where technology projects intersect with professional services delivery.

    Resource & Budget Management

    Coordinate with cross-functional project teams, including internal staff, contractors, and third-party vendors.Develop project budgets, track actuals against forecasts, and provide regular financial reporting to the CIO.Optimize resource allocation across concurrent projects to ensure delivery commitments are met.Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables, including contract compliance and performance monitoring.

    Process Improvement & Documentation

    Establish and continuously improve project management standards, templates, and best practices across the IT function.Maintain thorough project documentation and lessons-learned repositories to support organizational knowledge management.Contribute to the development of IT roadmap planning and annual project portfolio prioritization.Must be able to support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes by firm staff.


    Qualifications:

    Required

    3 to 5 years of progressive project management experience, with a demonstrated record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Prior experience in a professional services environment (public accounting, consulting, legal, or advisory services strongly preferred).Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.Strong command of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, SharePoint, and Project for the Web.Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing deadlines and varying levels of complexity.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to executive leadership and clients.Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of an organization.Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

    Preferred

    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).Experience with ERP, CRM, or practice management system implementations.Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance, or data governance projects in a regulated industry.Experience supporting or managing projects involving cloud migrations or SaaS platform deployments.Agile or Scrum certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent).
