    Position details

    Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical GroupFull time Dayshift schedule 8 am- 5pm Work-life balancePerform a variety of bread-and-butter interventional radiology procedures in a modern, well-equipped facility that values efficiency, collaboration, and physician satisfaction.


    Typical Cases Include

    Image-guided biopsies and drain placementsParacentesis and thoracentesisPeripheral angiography and angioplastyCentral venous access, port, and PICC placementsEmbolization proceduresOther general interventional procedures as needed


    Qualifications

    MD or DO from an accredited institutionCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology residency or fellowshipBoard-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Radiology (ABR or equivalent)Eligible for or currently licensed in Illinois


    Compensation & Benefits

    Responsibilities:

    Interpret a high-volume of screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, breast MRIs, and related imaging studies with a focus on early detection and accurate diagnosis.Perform stereotactic breast biopsies (core needle) as a core procedural competency, along with ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided biopsies when indicated, ensuring precise, minimally invasive tissue sampling.Provide timely consultations for abnormal findings, coordinate with multidisciplinary breast team (oncologists, surgeons, pathologists) to develop patient-centered care plans and facilitate rapid workup/treatment pathways.Participate in breast tumor board/multidisciplinary conferences, quality assurance reviews, and peer learning to maintain high standards in breast imaging and intervention.
