Accounts Receivable Associate – Payer Specialist

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Associate-Payer Specialist to manage all A/R systems, the month end close process and correct census, McGregor PACE A/R, and the entire Medicaid process for long-term care (LTC) residents. This position allows flexibility with a 4/10 work schedule after the successful completion of the introductory period.
Essential Duties:
Maintain correct up-to-date daily census and charges for all McGregor companies reconciling with proper reporting sources.Timely identification of any payer changes/eligibility within the Medicaid system (MITS) including MyCare changes and share of cost changes and address any issues that arise from such changes.Coordinate the Medicaid pending/new application process from beginning to end. Work closely with families/residents to ensure all data is collected and sent to Medicaid timely. Work closely with Cuyahoga County to ensure applications are being reviewed and approved timely, renewals and all Medicaid issues processed timely.Process all Medicaid Authorized Representative documents for all LTC McGregor residents.Post all Medicaid and Medicare payments to McGregor PACE A/R and address any outstanding balances related to Medicaid and Medicare payers.Education and Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school preferred. Two to three (2-3) years of Medicare or Medicaid billing preferred, Medicaid eligibility/application experience preferred, billing experience in long-term care preferred.Ability to write routine reports.Knowledge of basic computer, Excel, and accounting software.Benefits

Summary of Position
The Social Worker functions as the advocate and care manager for the residents and family. Works with residents, families, and resident support people in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations to provide emotional and social support and resources to allow the residents to exist and function at their highest potential and independent level. The Role
In this role, you will support accounts payable and general ledger functions through our electronic payables system, helping ensure invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.
What You'll Do

The Role
The Director of Residential Services will manage the clinical operations of the Assisted Living facility and provide care and wellness services to the residents. What You Will Do
