DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment; greet and acknowledge customers, maintain solid product knowledge and outstanding standards; effectively and efficiently handle customer rentals; ensure rental items are in clean and operational condition; responsible for delivering and receiving of rental items. Maintain awareness of product information, merchandise promotions and advertisements; assist in floor moves, merchandising and display maintenance. Answer customer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise; communicate customer requests to management, as needed. Assist with shipping and receiving. Load and unload items for customers. Operate forklift truck in warehouse. Set up tents and perform "tent crew" deliveries, as needed. Make customer deliveries such as salt, grills, fencing, and large equipment. Follow company customer service standards, policies and procedures; accountable for all safety procedures. Effectively accurately process rental agreements with customers by phone or in person. Ensure customer understands how rental items operate and understands all rental rules (ex: date and time due and proper cleaning of rental item). Follow Check-out/ Check-in process; inspect rental equipment for damages, defects, or shortages. Monitor equipment and report repairs/ maintenance; tag equipment for cleaning/ repair; clean rental equipment, as needed. Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations (rental desk and service area). Work hours-variety of day/ evening shifts, including weekends; with open availability.
