  Job DescriptionJob Description

  We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Light Duty Technician to join our GMC service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values quality, and wants to grow their automotive career in a positive, team-oriented shop.

  What You’ll Do

  Perform routine maintenance and light repairs (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, batteries, etc.)Complete multi-point inspections and identify maintenance needsAssist with basic diagnostics using dealership tools and equipmentMaintain accurate repair orders and documentationWork closely with service advisors and other techniciansKeep your workspace clean, safe, and organized

  What We’re Looking For

  Previous technician experience preferred (entry-level candidates with training welcome)Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenanceStrong work ethic and attention to detailValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentASE certifications are a plus, but not required

  Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMcCarthy Auto World GMC is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing service team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a positive ownership experience while helping customers maintain their vehicles safely and efficiently.The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dealership environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns and service needs.Schedule service appointments and manage repair orders.Communicate recommended maintenance and repair services to customers.Provide cost estimates and obtain customer authorization for repairs.Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.Review completed repairs with customers and explain services performed.Promote maintenance services and dealership programs.Maintain CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) standards and dealership goals.Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or customer service professional preferred.Automotive dealership experience is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer skills and familiarity with dealership management software.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.High school diploma or equivalent required.BenefitsCompetitive base salary plus performance bonuses.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holidays.401(k) with company match.Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service.Paid training and career advancement opportunities.Positive team-oriented work environment.
