  • SOC Analyst with Security Clearance  

    - West Mifflin

    Mayhew Technology Solutions (MTS) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated SOC Analyst to join our growing cybersecurity team supporting federal government clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents and threats in a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. Key Responsibilities:
    • Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and alerts from security systems (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
    • Perform initial triage and investigation of security events and escalate as necessary.
    • Analyze and respond to phishing attempts, malware infections, and other suspicious behavior.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, findings, and response actions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, compliance, and engineering to strengthen security posture.
    • Utilize threat intelligence feeds to contextualize events and support proactive defense strategies.
    • Assist in developing and refining incident response procedures and SOC playbooks.
    • Support vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking.
    • Maintain compliance with government standards and security policies (e.g., NIST 800-53, FISMA, DFARS/CMMC).
    • Participate in security audits, reporting, and continuous monitoring activities. Minimum Qualifications:
    • Active Top-Secret clearance (required)
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 2+ years of experience in a SOC or cybersecurity analyst role
    • Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight), EDR platforms, and firewalls
    • Understanding of common attack vectors, malware types, and incident response methodologies
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications:
    • Security+ CE, CEH, or other relevant DoD 8570 certifications (required for some roles)
    • Experience supporting federal contracts or working in classified environments
    • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, threat hunting techniques, and forensic analysis
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems, report writing, and compliance documentation Work Schedule & Environment:
    • This role may require shift work to support 24/7 operations depending on contract requirements.
    • Onsite work may be required at government facilities; remote or hybrid flexibility may be available based on client and clearance level.

  • -Engineering experience with electrical hardware design, programmable logic, analog or digital circuit design, testing electronics or software, or integrating embedded systems.
    -Proficiency in Electrical Schematics Development using AutoCAD.
    -Electrical Hardware Design and Integration experience.
    -Working knowledge of electronics lab practices, construction & debugging of digital & analog circuits using common lab tools and instruments (meters, scopes, analyzers).
    -Experience with National Instruments PXI Hardware.
    -Knowledge of computer programming languages and applications to develop, test, and troubleshoot test equipment.
    -Ability to work in fast paced, highly collaborative, and innovative work environment.
    -A person who can clearly and concisely articulate complex technical ideas

  • Computer Technician with Security Clearance  

    - West Mifflin

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    -Provide periodic and preventative maintenance services based upon Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations.
    -Provide remedial services as required to keep desktop devices in good working order.
    -Responsible for maintaining inventory at the minimum levels necessary to maintain operations and reduce obsolescence of spare parts.
    -Create monthly inventory reports and replace components used from spare parts inventories and adjust inventories to support the performance level required.
    -Refresh approximately 25% of the total number of computers per site on an annual basis.
    -Swap out defective units in order to maintain continuity of operations.
    -Troubleshoot and repair desktop devices.
    -Work with the Project Manager to recommend upgrades of existing equipment and configurations as technology permits.
    -Knowledge of software installations and image generation (device imaging) procedures. -Interface with the end user to resolve desktop productivity suite issues.
    -Implement all OEM firmware/software updates on networked printers as directed by the customer.
    -Install images on desktop/peripheral equipment if requested.
    -Partake in the annual deployment of desktop PCs.
    -Other duties as assigned by the customer. Required Experience
    -Minimum of 1 year of technical experience working in a desktop support or helpdesk setting.
    -Ability to creatively solve challenging technology problems
    -Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment.
    -Passion for customer service.
    -Strong communicator that can work without direct supervision or detailed direction.
    -Experience with using and managing Remedy ticketing systems.
    -Candidates must be able to work on-site at client sites in the surrounding geographical region.
    -Technical Certifications including but not limited to: A+, Net+, CCNA
    -Active DOE Q Clearance or DOD Secret Clearance required. Can hold up to TS/SCI.

  • System Administrator with Security Clearance  

    - West Mifflin

    Mayhew Technology Solutions is looking for Cleared Technology System Administrators to support our government customer. This individual must have an active DOE Q clearance or an active DOD Top Secret clearance at a minimum. This individual will be a full-time employee whose primary responsibility will be providing system administrative coverage for equipment and software under the guidance of the Computer Technology System Support Team (CTSS). Requirements Hardware Maintenance:
    Hardware problem diagnosis
    Replacement parts and materials are provided by Technology Engineers and/or Hardware Suppliers
    Replacement of hardware components under the direction of the CTSS team and the equipment's supplier (as required) Software Maintenance:
    Aid engineers in software problem diagnosis.
    Aid engineers in operating system problem diagnosis.
    Implement solutions under the guidance of the CTSS team, engineer, and equipment supplier as required.
    Provide Anti-Virus Patching Services - based on a maintenance schedule.
    Provide Operating System Debug and Patching Services -with concurrence and direction from CTSS, System LOB Owner, and Equipment Supplier. Procurement, Auditing, and Documentation:
    Aid engineers in purchasing new equipment using the buyer's internal required process.
    Work with the CTSS team to purchase the required equipment via the buyer's internal business system or by purchasing a credit card.
    Aid engineers in the completion and documentation related to the assessment process.
    Aid engineers in completing any required audits for the LOB Systems.
    Aid engineers in the implementation of the Continuous Monitoring (CM) process that will be implemented during the next phase of the RMF process.
    Miscellaneous Computer System Support
    Aid engineers with general system-related issues
    Aid engineers with system design questions for upgrades/ new purchases
    Consult with CTSS and Engineers on new technology implementations
    Other duties as assigned by the customer. Experience:
    Experience level must meet or exceed the following: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
    Ability to creatively solve challenging technology problems
    Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment.
    Strong communicator who can work without direct supervision or detailed direction.
