POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Hilo Driver primary responsibility is to ensure that that all machines are stocked with necessary materials and components. They are also responsible for removal of all finished stock and placing it in its designated area as well as the removal of trash and scrap. They must also ensure workstations have empty packaging and/or racks while adhering to company policies and procedures. However, there may be times when the utility/hi-lo driver’s will be required to perform other duties as requested through management or his/her supervisor.

The Die Setter‘s primary responsibility is to ensure a correct and proper mold change is done and certified in a safe and timely fashion, when required by scheduling or engineering. Reports functionally to the Section Supervisor and General Forman.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Report to work with the correct tools to do the job.
· Complete Mold change timely.
· Set up Mold change in an efficient manner, gather all tools prior to starting mold change
· Read, understand, and follow the mold change checklist and certify mold change is correct by signing check sheet and filing.
· Clean out hoppers when a material change is required.
· Clean dryer filters, change and discard when needed.
· Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
· Clean and wipe down machines (secondary equipment, thermolaters, grinders, air compressors, air dryers, water pumps, glue pumps, dryers, etc.)
· Make sure all bolts, clamps, hoses, etc. not being used, be removed from press and placed in defined storage area.
· Remove oil out of sumps with the air vacuum. Report any oil leaks to respective personnel.
· Lube machine- fill reservoir, lube injection end, wipes off excess grease on and around the reservoir.
· Confirm that mold is clean and ready to start production, prior to certifying mold change is complete.
· Clean molds for production, spray rust preventive on molds before storage.
· Think safety first, follow all safety rules and prescribed.
· Notify Supervisor of any safety related issues immediately.
· Be involved in your job, ask questions, and do not assume anything.
· Update tools date stamp and date wheel per work instruction MFG-WK-082.
· Make suggestions in accordance with Continuous Improvement Principles.
· Report any hazardous waste spills immediately to respective personnel.
