    We are currently looking for College Co-ops that are available to work in our Greendale, IN location.


    Our Construction Management/Operations Co-ops have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of responsibilities in a number of different positions on our project sites and in our corporate offices. These positions require the development of high levels of effective oral and written communication skills, technical skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills. Co-ops have the opportunity to assist with the following at the project site:


    Building layout (surveying)Process submittalsMaterial and equipment expeditingSubcontractor and workforce coordinationDocument controlMonitoring safety and/or qualityProject controlsOther project engineering related tasks


    Co-op candidates should be pursuing a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or other related industry degree.

    Job Summary:Maxwell is looking for Superintendents to oversee and coordinate all of the activities of a construction site according to project blueprints and schedule plans. Duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing safety checks and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites.



    Description of Tasks:

    Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs.Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline.Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliersCreate schedules for workers and subcontractorsHire additional subcontractors and assign work accordinglyMaintain a daily log for the job sites operations, reporting to management as necessaryMake changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlinesImplement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient


    Position Requirements:

    Minimum of 10 years of field experience in the commercial construction industryOSHA 30 preferredDemonstrated leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completions

    Key Responsibilities
