With operations in South Africa, Europe, and North America, we are expanding our U.S. service team and looking for a motivated Field Service Technician to support customers and distributors across the country.

What You'll Do
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and distributor network by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing lithium-ion battery systems and charging equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Install, commission, maintain, and repair lithium-ion battery systems and associated charging equipment.Travel to customer and distributor locations throughout the United States to perform service, maintenance, and technical support activities.Diagnose electrical, electronic, and basic mechanical faults using established troubleshooting methods.Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure reliable system performance.Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues.Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.Monitor battery performance remotely and respond to system alerts when not deployed in the field.Perform in-house repairs, refurbishment, and testing from our Dallas facility.Maintain service tools, spare parts inventory, and company equipment.Build strong relationships with customers by delivering professional, responsive technical support.Assist with the development and expansion of the U.S. service operation.
What We're Looking For
Required
Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automotive Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in field environments.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred
Experience working with industrial equipment, forklifts, battery systems, chargers, power electronics, refrigeration equipment, renewable energy systems, or related technologies.Previous field service or maintenance experience.Experience working directly with customers and end users.
