    Sales Representative

    The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the company's sales plan within assigned territory. The role will require some overnight business travel. This position will strategically work closely with the Vice President of Sales and be part of a strong team approach to increasing sales revenue in the territory.

    Responsibilities:

    Maintain and expand the company's existing customer base across all product lines to achieve growth objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.Investigate and troubleshoot quality and customer service issues and identify solutions.Maintain a robust prospect pipeline, prepare proposals, submit quotes, author call reports, sales presentations, sample/demonstrate products.Determine efficient shipping methods for order fulfillmentPassionately communicate our brand identity and implement company initiatives.

    Requirements:

    Minimum five years of B2B manufacturing sales or distribution sales experience, preferably with industrial-oriented UN packaging.A bachelor's degree preferred but will consider candidates with appropriate industry experience in lieu of college degree.Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and effective listening skills.Strong sales hunter mentality with passion to succeed.Strong prospecting and account qualification skills.Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies.Ability to develop comprehensive understanding of financial and business plans.Ability to work in a team environment with senior management as well as plant-level employees.Must be comfortable in office, factory and warehouse environments.Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot-table experience a plus) and PowerPoint.Ability to work in a high-stress environment with the ability to problem solve, prioritize and react quicklyStrong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.Experience with SalesForce.com or similar CRM tool.Ability to be on the road 60-70% of the time

May conduct tool store inventory reviews to ensure proper tools and/or parts are available for use in the event they are needed. Prepares and reviews employees' worked hours for submission to payroll.
