  • O&M Systems Administrator for Linux Systems Title: O&M Systems Administrator for Linux Systems Location: Springfield, VA Security clearance : TS/SCI with Poly Program Description: MRG provides Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/SE Linux based HPC services throughout the lifecycle for computational requirements, architecture, acquisition, and operations to federal government customers. This work involves working on cutting edge HPC technologies to ensure that scientists and engineers will be able to fully utilize modern HPC systems. We are seeking a senior level Systems Administrator with Linux and Software Configuration Management experience to support our program at the Springfield, VA location. The successful candidate will have experience supporting Linux based users on a Multi- Level Security network. Including configuration management, build automation and release engineering. This is a Systems Administrator role that manages Linux server infrastructure in support of the program. The role includes solving end-user computer system problems and improving performance on Linux Redhat platforms/operating systems. Candidate needs experience with tools listed below and will be supporting the software configuration management (SCM) processes. The Systems Administrator assists with resolving technical issues with applications, network connectivity and ensures security compliance of deployed systems. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline and a minimum of 6 years of professional level experience.
    Candidate must have Security + certification
    Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level with a poly. Requires U.S. Citizenship
    Configuration management and change management experience using tools such as Git, SVN.
    Linux Operating System knowledge, ability to solve end-user computer system problems, while working independently in a lab environment.
    Knowledge of data communications and networking
    Experienced Administration/Systems Engineer in Linux
    Experience with Linux RedHat Operating Systems, Computer Networking, and Communications Systems
    Experience with RedHat Satellite or other provisioning software.
    Understanding and experience working with identity management systems including LDAP and token-based authentication systems
    Experience with the Creation of bash scripts and ansible playbooks Desired Skills: Experience with Splunk, Security Center, Nessus
    Experience with Lustre, NFS, file system
    SELinux experience: configuration and policy
    Agile process and Core Digital Transformation, knowledge of Atlassian suite (confluence, JIRA etc)

We are seeking a DevOps Engineers familiar with Unix/Linux/SE for our Data Centric-Multi-Level Secure (DC-MLS ) Enterprise team. The DC-MLS Enterprise team provides initial deployment and coordination of initial site support for DC-MLS deployments which include HPC programs and other contracts as well as for our DC-MLS Core team. Summary: You will be an active member of the DC-MLS Enterprise team supporting multiple current and future contracts including the HPC contract. The DC-MLS Enterprise team is responsible for the development of documentation, scripting, processes, and other support necessary to deploy the DC-MLS Core product and working with the sites including HPC and other current deployments to provide full spectrum of DevOps support for the DC-MLS Core and Enterprise product and the implementations on the various contracts. You will work closely with the contract teams, users, and government to ensure the DC-MLS Enterprise and Core products meet requirements and fully support each program's needs. An individual should have demonstrated problem-solving ability.
