    The Importance of this Role

    The Sales Representative role provides a 4-week pathway to our Licensed Insurance Agent role following a personal lines licensing program. No license required- Matic will provide all training and licensing! Our Insurance Agent is responsible for helping drive revenue and growth for the organization. You will be tasked with educating and advising customers on the most optimal personal lines insurance products. Matic specializes in streamlining the process for customers going through the lending process to purchase homeowners insurance. Because of that, Matic is able to deliver qualified leads to our insurance advisors, so you can spend time doing what you do best, selling insurance.


    Responsibilities 

    Advising customers on best insurance options in marketplaceStaying up to date on market trends and carrier productsMake outbound calls to prospective clients, generating interest, and selling insuranceActively participate in team activities, trainings, and brainstorm sessionsBe a thought leader helping to shape our process of tomorrowCreate a five star customer service resulting in a world class customer satisfaction scoreConduct detailed follow ups via email and phoneAttain sales goals while providing customers with qualityAssist Customers with the policy purchase process, verifying all the policy information prior to binding, processing payments, assisting customer with DocuSign process and reviewing settlement sheet for accuracyMaintains knowledge of new guidelines and procedures by reading all emails

    The Importance of this Role

    We're looking for a Senior Customer Service Representative to be the voice of Matic! Your job is to keep our customers happy by providing top-notch service. You will work directly with customers over the phone to answer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure they stay with Matic for the long haul.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Frontline Support: Provide expert service and guidance to our customers primarily over the phone, as well as email and text.Retention: Identify customers at risk of cancellation and use problem-solving skills to retain their businessValue Articulation: Clearly articulate the Matic value proposition to reinforce why the customer chose us.Upselling: Offer other insurance products (bundling) to our customers where applicable to increase their coverage and value.Goal Achievement: Achieve team goals for productivity, quality, client satisfaction) and policy retention.

     

    Our Expectations of an Inbound CSR:

    Save Attempt EVERY TIME: We require a save attempt to be made on every cancellation request.One Call Resolution: Do everything you can to solve the issue before ending the call.Customer Holds: Inform customers they are being placed on hold. Check in every minute at a minimum to update.We Champion Our Customers: Every call and every interaction.     Requirements:

    About the Role

    Matic Insurance is a tech-enabled insurance agency helping homeowners find the right coverage at the right price. We're looking for a detail-oriented accounting intern to support our finance team on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role; you'll work directly with real financial data and gain practical experience in accounting operations across multiple areas of the business.

    Responsibilities

    Reconcile company credit card charges to the correct general ledger accounts and ensure proper coding by department and expense type.Gather receipts and supporting documentation for expenses and upload them into our accounting system.Assist with reconciliation of bank transactions, matching activity to internal records and flagging discrepancies.Support reconciliation of carrier commission payments from our insurance carriers, helping to verify amounts received against expected commission statements.Assist with other ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.

    Requirements

    Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Solid foundational knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, general ledger).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets — comfortable working with data and basic formulas.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.Prior coursework or experience in bookkeeping or accounting software is a plus.Ability to work on-site in our Brewery District office
