    Job Title This position is responsible for the transportation of materials in a safe and timely manner by applying knowledge for commercial driving regulations, and roads in the area. The professional driver will be responsible for driving to and from designated locations, verifying loads to shipping papers, maintaining records of duty status according to State and Federal Regulations, and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Must present a professional business image to the public as well as fellow employees. Must possess a valid commercial Class A Drivers' License, Hazmat, Air Brake Endorsements, and Medical card; packaged gas straight truck driver; to include pumper, micro-bulk. Tanker Endorsements preferred. This position reports to the Site Manager or Operations Manager. Essential Functions Transports cylinders to assigned internal and external customers in a timely and safety conscious manner. Stays within all posted speed limits and complies with all DOT and company safety policies and procedures. Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle. Maintains the vehicle in a clean and proper condition. Legibly completes driver log/trip reports on a daily basis. Responsible for accurate recording of cylinders/hard-goods transactions on customer delivery tickets and trip reports. Maintains good communications with supervisor and management especially safety and customer matters. Operates / Drives forklift truck as required for loading and unloading of product. Sets tone for employees by good example through observation of the company's Loss prevention policies and procedures. Reports accidents including near misses, unsafe acts or conditions and obeys safety rules. Uses effective time management tools in order to follow through on work commitments and scheduled deadlines associated with own job; obtains agreement of all stake-holders within a development program to identify issues, minimizes risks at an early stage, ensure safety, and on-time delivery. Participate as an active member of the local safety committee when assigned according to the rotation process. Filling Cryogenic Liquid Dewars. Provide first line technical support. Perform other projects and duties as assigned. MATHESON has over 300 locations and more than 4500 employees in the U.S. POSITION SUMMARY: Representing a core business unit for Matheson, this commercially focused person is responsible for managing Matheson’s point of use and bulk purifier and abatement product line and also will contribute to the sales of these products directly and indirectly by interactions with our existing sales team. New product roll outs, handling customer issues, and working with operations and quality departments to ensure the purifier products get ordered, manufactured, and shipped according to existing processes and standards. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Purifier Product Manager Equipment - Electronics will increase sales and market share by developing relationships achieving levels of trust and credibility with the clients’ lab personnel, safety departments and procurement departments. Working directly and supporting Matheson’s Specialty and Packaged Gas sales team the Sales Specialist will drive our specialty gas sales initiatives. Job Overview: The Product Manager Equipment - Electronics will be responsible for Sales in support of overall sales internally at Matheson facilities and externally with customer visits. Primary Responsibilities: Understand and adhere to company safety work policies and operating practices: report safety incidents and near misses. Increase sales and market share of point of use and bulk gas purifiers through direct and indirect sales activities. Develop sales leads into profitable accounts working closely with local sales teams within defined regions Serve as a conduit for information between clients and our senior management, operations and quality assurance departments Provide management with regular reporting and updates regarding key customer, prospects and projects Conduct sales for the Nanochem Purification Business Group and bulk gas purifiers directly to customers. Identify and assist in managing quotes and customer follow-up with Customer Service and Internal Sales persons. Assist in managing contracts for outside sales. Follow up with monthly reports of sales and targets. Answer technical and non-technical questions from customers to assist in the correct product offering. Train existing sales people from Specialty gas and Packaged gas department and assist in external sales to customers. Work with teams to establish and maintain operating and maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance schedules for purification systems. · This position requires a combination of office work and fieldwork after work hours may be expected with International Customers. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to develop working relationships with the management team. · Travel will be required for this role.
