Qualified candidates who are hired for Full Time employment will receive a Signing Bonus of $1500.00. ($750.00 payable after completion of six months of continuous employment and the remaining $750.00 after completion of twelve months of continuous employment).
We are currently looking for Full Time Paraprofessionals.Duties include:
Maintains a safe and secure school environment for the students.
Follows lesson plans both with the teacher and independently.
Acts as an instructional resource and support.
Performs both instructional and non-instructional duties as dictated by the IEP and directed by the assigned teacher, school nurse, principal or designee.
Attends the IEP with the student when able.
Provides ADL ( Activities of daily living) such as ; supporting toileting, feeding, swimming, and other duties as assigned in order to support the overall program objectives of each student.
Assists classroom teacher in developing objectives to meet the needs of the students as a process toward achievement of goals in an inter-disciplinary approach.
Assists teacher in maintaining individual student data collection on each student in relation to goals or other important observations; provides information to classroom teacher to assist in writing program plans.
Maintains knowledge of progress and specific concerns/problems of individual students.
Actively engages with students in all assigned educational activities, under direct supervision of the teacher.
Takes over the legal and instructional responsibilities when the teacher leaves the room or when assigned.

Shift is every Monday 7am-7pm.
Duties of this position include:
Provides personal care tasks to an assigned client or group, which meets their hygiene, safety, comfort, nutritional, elimination, activity and social needs.Ensures clients are dressed properly and are clean and dry at all timesRespects the client's rights, concerns, privacy and dignity at all times.Checks the clients for reddened areas and signs of skin breakdown, and reports findings to the nurse immediately.Notifies the nurse when a client complains about or exhibits sings of pain or injury.Maintains cleanliness of clients' wheelchairs.Maintains cleanliness of program spaces and client changing rooms. High touch surfaces will be cleaned/disinfected per facilities guidelines.Works with a partner to complete duties in accordance with facility policies.Participates in and contributes to departmental and interdisciplinary team meetings.Participates and assists clients in day program classes and activities.Transports clients to and from day program classes and activities.Accompanies clients to/from program on vehicle transport.Demonstrates the ability to follow directions, both oral and written, and works cooperatively with other staff members.Ensures that all documentation requirements are completed during the work shift.Establishes and maintains positive interpersonal relationships with clients, family members and other staff members.
