SUMMARY
The Environmental Technician position is responsible for providing the field work necessary to collect data for report preparation by the Asbestos/Lead Administrative Assistant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for conducting field operations including but not limited to sample gathering, data collection, job specific condition evaluations, and on-site project management.

These certifications may include but are not limited to asbestos supervisor, asbestos inspector and lead inspector.
Martin Transport, Inc. is seeking a hands on Sales and Operations Manager with transportation supervisory experience to lead and grow our Reserve, LA Terminal.
The ideal candidate will display strong character and integrity and will be responsible for all safety, sales, and operational aspects of the terminal in accordance with company guidelines.
This position requires a multitasking leader who is able to analyze and direct the changing dynamics of a 24/7 transportation terminal. The ideal candidate must be familiar with DOT compliance and maintenance and a minimum of 5 years of transportation experience supervising Class -A CDL drivers. SUMMARY
Conduct document verification and entry into the transportation management system software, maintain office files on all equipment and drivers, OSHA reporting, safety documentation.

Assist in distribution of driver paperwork once completed by dispatch
Ensure all paperwork from drivers for loads are checked for accuracy, entered, and scanned into the MTI ERP system
Checking driver logs to verify times and accuracy for verification of paperwork
Maintain equipment files for all DOT auditable equipment at the local terminal in accordance with MTI document retention policy
OSHA and other safety related files updated
Answer phones and direct calls as needed
Open, sort, distribute mail as needed

SUMMARY
Maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to support safe, compliant, high-quality, and efficient grease production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors, reducers, pumps, conveyors, palletizer, and other automated packaging equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all production systems
Diagnose and repair electrical control panels and related systems
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Perform welding, fabrication, piping repairs, and minor machine work
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
Execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety protocols
Maintain accurate records of PMs, daily work performed and parts inventory
