Martin Marietta is seeking a Load Out Person to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be position is responsible for safely and efficiently loading and/or unloading railcars, rail yard switching, preparing rail-cars for loading and/or unloading and performing some track and equipment maintenance. The Load Out Person will also be cross trained to operate various types of heavy equipment.

Hours: 6AM - 5PM, weekends as necessary
A typical day for a(n) Load Out Person may include:
* Loading and/or unloading railcars in a safe and efficient manner
* Ensuring all materials are loaded and/or unloaded and stockpiled to meet all quality control requirements
* Shoveling, sweeping, picking up trash, painting and performing general cleanup of plant areas and locomotive operations
* Performing daily preventative maintenance and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment under the guidance of designated personnel
* Operating equipment and performs other tasks within rail operations
* Performing daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintains maintenance log
* Performing maintenance or repairs on all plant and mobile equipment including some welding
* Participating in plant operations including production, quality control, loading and shipping
* Maintaining good housekeeping in areas of responsibility
* Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed
* Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor

* Operating the yard loader within the company guidelines and safety standards
* Completing daily pre and post inspection of working areas and ensures they are equipped with adequate berms and roadways
* Performing pre-shift safety inspection on equipment and reports needed repairs to the supervisor
* Ensuring safe operations around conveyors, surge piles and crushers
* Performing daily preventative maintenance - tire pressure, oil, grease, diesel fuel, hoses for leaks and all moving parts for proper function
* Maintaining the quality of product stockpiles
* Maintaining safe traffic flow throughout the site
* Operating other equipment such as excavators and haul trucks in a safe manner as needed
* Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed
* Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
