    This role will be based in either our Poughkeepsie or Yorktown office, with the potential to work in a hybrid capacity.


    We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team! In this role, you'll help shape how Marshall+Sterling shows up online - telling our story, celebrating our people, and connecting with the communities we serve. From crafting standout content to analyzing what drives engagement, you'll play a key role in strengthening our brand presence across every platform.     Responsibilities:

    Lead the day-to-day management of our social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and emerging platforms - bringing Marshall+Sterling's brand and values to life through fresh, creative content.Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts, videos, and campaigns that drive awareness, connection, and growth within our communities.Partner with marketing and internal teams to capture photos and highlight employee stories, community moments, and initiatives that reflect our culture of ownership.Stay on top of social trends, hashtags, and industry conversations to keep our content current, authentic, and aligned with what audience's care about most.Connect with followers and employee-owners through comments, messages, and shares to foster genuine engagement and two-way communication.Monitor performance analytics to measure success, share insights, and recommend new ideas to strengthen our digital impact.Maintain consistent brand voice, visual standards, and compliance across every platform - while embracing creativity and innovation in execution.Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the marketing team and company initiatives. Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.2-4 years of managing social media platforms and creating social content on key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTokStrong writing, graphic design, photography, and video editing experience with an eye for detail and brand tone.Familiarity with social media management, content creation, and listening and reporting tools and platforms including Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, HubSpot, GA4.Knowledge of employee advocacy tools (e.g., GaggleAMP, EveryoneSocial), WordPress, Salesforce preferred.Experience in financial services or regulated industries also preferred.

    Total Rewards Package:


    Compensation: $60,000-75,000, based on experience, education, and work location.

    At Marshall+Sterling, we're stronger together. As an Underwriting & Placement Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting our Account Managers by coordinating renewals, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring our clients receive accurate, competitive benefit solutions.

    Submit daily marketing activity reports and pull monthly renewal lists for assigned Account Managers.Request updated rates, benefits, and carrier information quarterly to keep client data current. Maintain organized marketing spreadsheets, carrier comparison tools, and renewal presentations.Prepare and send renewal presentations and proposals on behalf of Account ManagersAssist with quoting and marketing requests to support timely and accurate submissionsParticipate in carrier meetings, staying informed on updates to ensure presentations and plans reflect current offerings. Collaborate with your Manager and team to maintain exceptional client service, compliance, and confidentiality. Requirements: College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.Agency or company background in Employee Benefits.Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs especially Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with Vertafore a plus.Appropriate state insurance licenses and continuing education preferred.Works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company in a professional manner.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.High level of organizational ability with attention to detail.

    This position will be based out of Marshall+Sterling's Latham or Poughkeepsie Offices.


    We are seeking a licensed and client-focused Client Service Specialist with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering top-tier service in the insurance industry. This role is perfect for a proactive professional who holds a Property+Casualty Insurance license and thrives on building strong client relationships, ensuring policy accuracy, and contributing to account retention and growth. You will play a key role in supporting clients in either personal or commercial insurance, collaborating with internal teams to provide a seamless service experience.

    Review policy coverage, identify areas for enhancement, and coordinate with the Account Manager.Underwrite individual risk situations to meet agency and carrier standards.Secure applications for coverage from Sales Executives, Account Managers, and/or clients.Review policies for accuracy and completeness, ensuring updates are made per workflow procedures.Address cancellation requests and assist in retaining accounts.Treat each service contact as an opportunity for account development, including upgrading coverage and obtaining referrals.Regularly communicate with clients to thank them for their business and document all interactions regarding coverage and exposures.Perform financial duties as directed by management. Requirements: College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.Prior experience in insurance lines of coverage, fundamental rating, underwriting and procedural skills.Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.Experience with Vertafore a plus.Proven ability to exceed expectations.Appropriate state insurance licenses and continuing education required.Works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company in a professional manner.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.High level of organizational ability with attention to detail.
