    Role

    The role functions as a member of an area team that is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. This role will operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area. Utility Operators must ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement. Utility Operators must have the skill set to train and/or perform the tasks of other associates in the area as needed. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support site objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    Maintenance Technician ($3,000 Sign-On Bonus)

    Site (GRV)- Greenville, MS

    Shift: 223 Day/Night 12-hour shift

    This shift rotates from days to nights. The hours for days are 7am 7:30pm and nights are 7pm - 7:30am. The 223 shift means you will work 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on; then 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. If we are looking at a calendar it would be Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and then the next week would just be Wednesday and Thursday.

    What are we looking for?

    The Maintenance Technicians role is to provide on the production floor leadership to build Progressive Maintenance (PM) capability (breakdown elimination) and technical support (work order completion) for delivering the teams operational targets such as safety, quality, and efficiency results. This role must proactively identify and action risks to safety, food safety, quality and production losses. Technician must participate in problem solving, effectively communicate priorities and escalate issues within their area and across shifts.

    What will be your key responsibilities?

    Perform mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance on various manufacturing equipmentComplete work orders as assigned and proactively look at work orders to complete as time permitsDocument preventative maintenance and work orders using SAP Plant MaintenanceTroubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical problems on all plant equipment.

    Minimum Requirements

    High School Diploma or equivalentTechnical Degree/Trade Certification OR 2+ years of work experience related to industrial maintenancePossess a fundamental understanding of Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and/or Mechanical Drawings in order to solve problems with equipmentWillingness to develop required technical skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Associate degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/TechnologyPossess an advanced understanding of AC/DC Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic and Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings in order to solve problemsPossess PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills

    Physical Requirements:

    Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum twelve hours in one shift).Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment.
