    Position Summary

    A leading medical device manufacturer in Irvine is seeking an **Assembler I** to join their production team. This role is responsible for electro-mechanical assembly, cleanroom assembly, and product packaging. We are looking for dependable individuals with strong hand assembly skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    * Perform electro-mechanical assembly and packaging of medical devices.
    * Assemble products using hand tools while following detailed work instructions.
    * Read and interpret manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection documents.
    * Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and company procedures.
    * Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy.
    * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    * Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
    * Learn new equipment and manufacturing processes as needed.

    Qualifications

    * 2+ years of medical device assembly experience preferred.
    * Experience working in an FDA, GMP, or ISO-regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
    * Strong manual dexterity and hand assembly skills.
    * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    * Ability to read and understand written work instructions in English.
    * Good verbal and written communication skills.
    * Reliable, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment.

    Work Environment

    * Cleanroom, laboratory, and warehouse environment.
    * Standing and sitting throughout the shift.
    * Frequent use of hands for detailed assembly work.
    * Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
    * Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.

    Our client, a precision machine shop in San Marcos, is seeking Production Worker / Laser Tech (Operator) candidates for both 1st Shift and 3rd Shift.     Position Summary

    Responsibilities

Ensure items are packaged accurately and prepared in accordance with company standards.Receive incoming shipments, inspect materials for accuracy and damage, unload deliveries, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Maintain proper documentation and help ensure all incoming inventory is properly handled and organized.Support inventory control through counting, restocking, cycle counts, organization, and discrepancy reporting. Help maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are stored in a logical and accessible manner.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company procedures, State and Federal safety standards, and equipment guidelines.


    Minimum Requirements

    High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge of general warehouse operations and safe material handling practicesComfortable with hands-on material handlingAbility to accurately pick, pack, count, receive, and move materialsAbility to maintain organized inventory and warehouse storage areasAbility to identify issues and escalate discrepancies, damage, or safety concerns appropriatelyAbility to manage time and maintain productivity in a physically active environment


    Physical Demands
    Will consistently lift, push, and pull up to 20-30 pounds on a frequent basis with up to 50 pounds on occasion. Will consistently be standing, bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching for extended periods of time.

This position will primarily perform precision assembly requiring, attention to detail, initiative, working well within a team, and ability to produce consistently high-quality results while using a microscope in a cleanroom environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations including compliance to EN ISO 13485, Medical Device Quality Standards.Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental policies and procedures (DOPs), objectives, the quality assurance program, as well as safety and environmental standards. Ability to establish, build and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of staff, clients, and suppliers.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail and meeting deadlines.Ability to learn new equipment and processes, and quickly demonstrate proficiency in their operation.Read and interpret manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures and comply with their requirements.     Physical Demands
