We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with experience in Single-Family Rental (SFR) portfolios and property management operations. This role will oversee accounting for a large portfolio of residential properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with high-volume property data, understands the nuances of SFR accounting, and has strong experience with fixed assets and depreciation.

Position Summary:
The Home Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned renovations in the assigned market, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. A HVAC certification is highly preferred.
The ideal Technician must be a licensed driver and have reliable transportation to cover the metro region. They will be comfortable doing the initial visit to recently acquired homes.
The Home Maintenance Technician will manage property maintenance and renovation work performed on homes. The Technician will walk homes and report back the condition of work, manage vendors, perform inspections, and complete other tasks to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost-efficient manner. They will handle a variety of tasks, including repairs, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance on Marketplace Homes managed properties. Their efforts will ensure our homes remain functional and in excellent condition while upholding a clean and safe work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Inspects and identifies items in need of repair.Ensure HVAC systems are fully operational and conduct routine system tune-ups.Offer troubleshooting assistance for issues related to water heaters, plumbing, garage doors, irrigation systems, and electrical components.Plans repair work, coordinating with specialized technicians as needed.Performs general repairs, examples may include repairing drywall, painting, changing lightbulbs, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.Oversees specialized technicians to ensure timely and efficient service at the properties.Regularly interact with vendors and residents.Cleans and assists with upkeep of the properties, including routine maintenance.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.Ability to use hand tools and power tools.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools is necessary.Education and Experience:
Universal EPA Certification or HVAC Type II Certification is required in applicable states.A minimum of three years of experience in Residential/Property Maintenance or a related field is required,High school diploma or equivalent required.Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking.Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.Must be comfortable lifting and carrying 80 pounds to waist height, 80 pounds to shoulder height, and 25 pounds above the head.Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and climb ladders (both A-frame and extension ladders) to perform tasks such as tree trimming and removing debris and leaves from roof gutters.Must have a valid Driver's License

Schedule - Monday to Friday, 40-hour workweek.
