    How you will make an impact:

    Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident's physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first. Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice Promoting resident's independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident's condition, medication, and self-care skills Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders. Monitoring infection control for staff and residents and developing appropriate policies for infection control monitoring and reporting. Monitoring clinical quality areas including wound care, infection control, falls risk reduction, pain management, weight loss, and dehydration. Participating in Wound Rounds, Operations Meetings, Utilization Review, and Performance Improvement/Risk Management/Safety (PI/RM/S) Committee. Reviewing clinical outcomes to ensure that we stay above the National, State, and Erickson benchmarking thresholds. Collaborating with DON to plan, develop and maintain the clinical operational budget for the nursing department. Partnering with DON and clinical leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.

    Compensation: Salary range $120k-140k with eligibility for annual bonus of up to 8 % of base salary. Salary based on years of experience

    What you will need

    Current RN nursing license with no restrictions for the state in which they operate. Expertise in wound care, quality improvement, MDS, falls, hydration, infection control, care planning, etc. a plus. Minimum 3 years' experience in a healthcare leadership role (Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, etc.). Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred. Must obtain Infection Prevention Certification within 90 days of employment. CPR/First Aide training preferred.
