Premier offset and digital printing company in TN is searching to hire an experienced Prepress Lead Operator to direct and oversee prepress operations.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and supervise small group of prepress operators.Participate in prepress operations as the Prepress Lead in the department.Oversee production workflow, scheduling and staffing to ensure jobs are completed on time and on budget meeting and or exceeding client specifications.Review and approve jobs before moving to the next stage.Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.Hire, train, and evaluate team members.Support cross-department communication and customer satisfaction.Qualifications include:
Minimum 5 years' prepress leadership and/or Team Lead experience.5+ years of desktop publishing experience; proficient on Adobe Creative Suite.Working knowledge of CTP workflow.Excellent knowledge of color management.Strong technical knowledge of prepress and printing processes.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership, mentoring, and employee training experience.Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and prioritize effectively.Starting base salary $30 - $35/hr + benefits, 401k match, and relocation assistance.
