WHAT YOU WILL DO
Maintain the grounds of cemetery/memorial park and perform duties relative to maintaining grounds in cemetery and around the mausoleum. Duties: Waters lawn and shrubs, install markers, repairs fences, gates, walls, and walks; cleans out drainage ditches and culverts and controlling run off, and sharpens tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shears. Cuts lawns, trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls, prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs, sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides, rakes and bags or burns leaves, cleans grounds and removes litter, shovels snow from walks and driveways, spreads salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup, plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Driver’s License: Individual must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and in good standing.
Uniform: This position requires the individual to wear an officially approved uniform, paid for by the Company, while in a duty status.
Overtime. This position may require regular and recurring overtime work, and the individual must be available for such assignments.

Keeps office building and grounds in clean and orderly condition. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space. Empties trash and garbage containers. Dusts furniture and equipment Replace air conditioner filters. Notify management concerning need for major repairs and/or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Clean snow and debris from sidewalk. Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup. Maintain grounds in and surrounding areas of the buildings.

OSHA Information
Normal routine of duties may involve exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The Company will adhere to all OSHA and other government safety regulations.

Qualifications
