    Ready to work on the water and be part of an elite hospitality fleet?


    Manthey Hospitality is hiring a skilled Marine Mechanic to inspect, service and repair marine engines for our fleet. As a Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and servicing engine equipment, troubleshooting and making minor repairs. You should have extensive knowledge of engines, be able to work on land and at sea (dinner cruises) and be able to diagnose problems with electrical systems. This safety-sensitive role is essential to vessel operations, passenger safety, and maintaining the polished presentation of our dining and sightseeing cruises.

    What You'll Do

    Testing the performance of marine engines and electrical systems.Carrying out services and minor repairs on inboard diesel engines.Conducting plumbing and intake repairs.Troubleshooting engine and electrical problems.Replacing broken or worn-out engine parts.Conducting electrical (110v and 12v) maintenance.Completing service records and repair documents.Oil changes


    Requirements:

    What You Bring

    Must be 18, with valid state-issued IDMarine Mechanic: 1 year (Required)High school diploma or GED.Experience with inboard diesel engines required, some outboard gasoline experience a plus.Proven work experience as a Marine Technician.Knowledge of marine engine and electrical auxiliary systems.Knowledge of marine hydraulic systems and related parts.Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.Ability to work in an outdoor environment.Knowledge of boat steering systems.Possess understanding of mechanical devices, tools and marine technologyAvailability: Regular schedule is Monday through Friday. Being available on a rotating on-call basis on weekends, as well as working a few specialty weekend events per year is required.

    This position is deemed safety sensitive and conforms to all United States Coast Guard standards and regulations for our industry. Requires pre-employment and random drug screening participation.
