    This position will directly support pilot line production and R&D operations. This position will report to the Engineering and Maintenance Supervisor. This role will be responsible for strengthening our current maintenance practices and upgrading older components of the R&D/pilot line equipment. As a VPP OSHA certified site we make safety one of our core values.
    More specifically, this role will require the candidate to understand the operational intricacies of existing turnkey smart glass manufacturing systems as well as assisting in the installation of new equipment and ensuring all preventative maintenance is proceduralized and executed.

    What's the Job?

    Manage environmental projects from initial planning through execution and closure Oversee remedial system design and implementation (e.g., SVE, ISCO, pump & treat) Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Lead subsurface investigations including drilling, sampling, and hydrogeological studies Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation

    What's Needed?

    Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or site remediation Proficiency in site characterization, remedial technologies, and regulatory compliance PE or PG license (or eligibility) Familiarity with VT DEC, EPA, and ASTM regulations Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or environmental modeling tools OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
