Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead HVAC Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in both service and installation, and a proven track record of job site leadership or project oversight. In this key position, you will not only perform complex HVAC installations and service work, but also take the lead on project coordination, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects in both residential and commercial settingsOversee job site activities, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and efficient workflowCoordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project expectations are metProvide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians and apprenticesTroubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues, offering effective and timely solutionsEnsure accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and job status updatesParticipate in planning and scheduling, including materials ordering and labor coordinationMaintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies, code requirements, and best practicesQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited HVAC program or apprenticeship strongly preferredMinimum of 5 years of HVAC experience with advanced skills in service, installation, and diagnosticsProven leadership experience in project management, job site supervision, or team leadershipProficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentationStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to delivering quality work, customer satisfaction, and a collaborative work environmentValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordEPA 608 Certification (preferred)Compensation:
